Next Week

Readers Workshop - We are continuing to build theories about characters. Students are learning to ask more questions and base their thinking on strong evidence from their books. They are doing fantastic work!

Writers Workshop - We have started to publish the personal persuasive essays students have drafted over the last couple of weeks. Students are using their Google accounts to type these in Google Docs. This has opened a whole new window in our writers workshop!

Math - We are continuing to grow our brains as we learn more about fractions. Any practice students can do to name equivalent fractions and compare/order fractions will be very beneficial. 

Social Studies - After our wonderful Jefferson City adventure, we are going to continue to learn more about our Missouri government system. 

Two Hour Late Start

Just a quick reminder, Tuesday is another two hour late start for our district. School will start at 10:40 am to allow for teachers to grow our brains!

Veterans' Assembly

Prairie Branch will honor our veterans during a special assembly on Wednesday, November 11th at 9:30 am in the gym. Everyone is invited to attend with a special invitation to those that have served. We hope you can join us for this special event.
