Welcome to our classroom blog! I am excited to begin this year and I hope to use this blog to help keep you updated on all the current events in our building and the exciting things occurring in our classroom. This is going to be a fantastic year!
Just a little about me...
This is my first year in fourth grade, but I have taught third grade for the last eight years in Grain Valley. My husband and I live with our two girls in Grain Valley on a farm. The girls love riding along with Dad in the tractor and when they aren't playing dress up, they are digging in the dirt.
I graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2003 with my bachelors in Elementary Education. After teaching for two years, I returned to school while teaching and earned my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Park University in 2005. Once again, I am working on another degree from the University of Central Missouri and will finish my specialist degree in elementary administration next summer. I truly believe that we never stop learning!
